Is your PNG actually transparent?
Check the pixels, then inspect the edges. A white background or a painted checkerboard can look transparent without containing any transparent pixels.

Static PNG only. Up to 12 MB, 16 million pixels and 8,192 pixels per side. Export 16-bit or animated images as a static 8-bit PNG first.
The three checks before you publish a cutout
Use this repeatable checklist for logos, product photos and portraits. It is an inspection method, not a guarantee of marketplace acceptance.
1. Check opacity
Some pixels must be less than fully opaque for real transparency. A PNG extension alone proves nothing. A completely transparent image is also empty.
2. Check both backgrounds
A pale fringe may disappear on white but show on black. A dark fringe can do the reverse. Inspect hair, glass, fabric and corners at native size.
3. Check the destination
Keep PNG for transparency. If a listing requires an opaque white background, flatten onto white deliberately and check its current image rules. JPEG cannot preserve transparency.
